In an exciting milestone moment, the conservancy had 5 landowners sign into various forms of stewardship between 2020 and 2021. At an event the committee got to congratulate and thank these stewards for their commitment to conservation. Gifts from WWF and the conservancy were handed over as a sign of appreciation. Voerspooed Boedery and Tierhoek Organic Farm have joined the WWF Conservation Champions programme, which supports wine growers. Zoetigheid Organic Olive farm and Riverscape Farm have signed Biodiversity Agreements with Cape Nature, and Roam Rooiberg has signed a WWF Conservation Agreement.
