The conservancy, together with WWF Conservation Champions, hosted a workshop for landowners on role of cover crops on soil health and benefits to both farming and the environment. We had presenters from Barenbrug seeds to chat about cover cropping trials done in the area and a fascinating talk from Nemlab on soil health. The talks were followed by discussions in the vineyards and social braai afterwards.
