During Arbor Week 2022, the conservancy donated over 100 trees and shrubs from our nursery to Vinkriver and Eilandia Primary Schools. Our conservancy manager spoke about the importance of indigenous trees and how to plant a tree. Each child in the schools got to plant their own tree. Much fun was had by all and Chiltern sponsored apples for everyone to enjoy afterwards. We hope this is the start of building relationships with these schools and getting the children excited about nature and the environment.
